29 degrees below zero!!!

It was 29 below this morning, cold by any standards...we had planned to go back for more ski lessons today with Ben, but I wasn't sure that it would be warm enough...it got up to a bit above zero, so when I picked Ben up from school, we headed to the mountain...the bad news is that the lessons had been cancelled, the good news was that we had a great ski all by ourselves...


The mountain-cat had just finished grooming the hill and it was much more packed than during our last outing...this meant that Ben got going much faster on his run...he had a great time anyway (or because of it...), and would have skied until dark if a combination of him developing impressive snot-sicles and my legs/back getting tired being the human T-bar...as it was, we did about 20 runs...he is having so much fun skiing...I'm planning on going up on the lift this weekend...more pictures to come...
