First Day at Pisgah

We went over to Mount Pisgah for our first day of skiing this winter...Gail came along (we all have season passes this year), but her new boots didn't fit, so she couldn't join us today...

We had a great time skiing, Ben remembered most of what we learned last year...

We stopped midway through our skiing to reload on carbos, and then went back out for a bunch more runs...


He was much more independent in the lift lines as compared to last year...


He had a fun time watching the other kids in line, most of whom seem to be riding snowboards this year...


He was completely confident riding the T-bar, and he kept pushing his limits as regards how far up the hill we went...we started off the day jumping off of the T-bar after pole #2, moved on to pole #3.5, and even went up above pole #4 a couple of times (scary Everest-like slopes exist above pole #4)...
