A cold and wet weekend

It really was, but we still packed a lot in and had a great time...

Saturday morning we headed up to Malone and did some shopping at Walmart and IBC (I don't know what it really stands for, but I like to think of it as Impeccable Ben Clothes, as we always find nice stuff for him there)...in addition to some new clothes and a wind break, we picked up a t-ball tee, so that Ben can practice at home now that the season is here (2 games a week starting this Tuesday)...

Once we got home, we played with the tee and watched a movie up in our bedroom while Gail and I did laundry and picked up a bit...we went over to the Buerketts' for dinner and a campfire, and Penny had a wonderful time playing with Ripple, the Buerketts' black lab...

This morning we practiced a bit of fishing and played inside, and then went over to Lake Placid to see the new Indiana Jones movie in the ancient Palace Theatre...it was a fun movie, and we all had a good time with it...

When we got back, Ben and I made webbing chairs, a simple sling-like setup that supports your back when sitting cross-legged, that I learned about years ago, but wanted to make and share with Ben...here you can see Ben in his

It's a very simple loop of webbing (with a length of twice your height) with a fastex buckle to adjust the fit arond your knees and back...one strap crosses at your beltline, and the other crosses about mid-back, and it is remarkably comfortable; it relieves the stress on your stomach and back muscles tremendously...

Ben and Gail are reading the newest "Charlie Small" journal, and we're all going to bed early tonight as last night was a late night...

believe it or not, this is a yoga pose, baddha konasana. bound angle pose. When done with a strap and supported, it allows your joints to relax into the pose and open up.

LaLa

p.s. Good hit and form, Ben!
